Import your contacts
Bring your subscribers into Kannlicit from a CSV or Excel file, with consent confirmed for each channel.

Before you start
Prepare your file. Each row needs a valid email (rows without one are skipped). Name, phone, tags, province, city, postal code, and an important date are optional. Contacts are unlimited on every plan.

Open Contacts from the left navigation.

If you have multiple brands or locations, set the right scope in the top bar first. Contacts are scoped by brand and location.

Start an import and upload your CSV or Excel file.

Map your columns: email required; name, phone, tags, province, city, postal code, and the important date if you have them.

Confirm the per-channel consent attestation (email and/or SMS), which meets CASL and Cannabis Act consent rules before any send.

Complete the import and review your contact list.
Tips and good to know

The important date field powers birthday and anniversary automations, so include it if you run (or plan to run) those journeys.

Rows without a valid email are skipped rather than imported incomplete.

Only import people who consented to hear from you; the attestation is your confirmation of that, and the Resources library covers sign-up form requirements.
