The automation builder says I need a larger screen
The builder needs about 768px of width, so use a tablet or desktop.
The canvas needs room to work.

Read the message: on a phone, the automation builder shows "open on a larger screen."

Switch to a tablet or desktop (about 768px wide and up).

Build there. Everything else about automations works the same.

This is a builder limitation, not an automation one: your live automations run regardless of what device you carry.

A tablet in landscape clears the width requirement if a desktop is not handy.
